1969 l’insolite Vibe

The l’insolite is a lovely vibe from the French toy company 1969. It is designed as a Gspot vibrator, but I think that my clit is in love with it as well. It may seem a bit on the small side, but the saying “Good things come in small packages” definitely applies to this awesome toy. (When I say small I mean length, not width, this baby is pretty chubby!)

The l’insolite is made of silicone and has a hard plastic battery cap. The silicone gives it a nice texture, yet it is not squishy or flexible. It has a rather bulbous head, and it definitely does a good job of finding my Gspot. The l’insolite is splashproof, but cannot be submerged. So it is shower friendly, but it doesn’t like baths. It can be cleaned by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution to sterilize it, or just use some soap and water. The silicone is compatible with any non silicone lubricant.

It is 4 ½ inches long with 3 ½ inches insertable. Because of its smaller stature, you cannot do much thrusting with this baby. The l’insolite runs off of two AAA batteries. The l’insolite has 3 speeds and 7 vibration patterns, something to please everyone. Some of the patterns seemed somewhat musical, I was pleasantly surprised.

It has a simple single button control, and the feature that ALL single button toys should have, you turn it off by just simply holding down the button for a couple seconds. I hate toys that you have to cycle through all the patterns to turn it off.

I really loved my experience with the l’insolite. I can have just a quickie, or a longer dragged out session. The l’insolite has not failed to get me off, which is what I seek with any toy.
